Placido Paladino

After finishing his degree in the Planning and Management of Cultural Tourism Placido Paladino then completed a professional qualification as a Tourist Guide for the region of Sicily. He is passionate about working on the island and enjoys accompanying both Italian and other foreign nationals who wish to explore the region. Having qualified as a professional driver, he is now licensed to drive a mini bus with up to eight passengers. Placido now sees his role in the company as driver and tour guide.
Placido also manages and works on his family farm which produces the Sicilian speciality, ‘the pistachio of Bronte’. Bronte is a town and commune not far from Catania. He also organises tastings and visits through his own company.
Placido likes to confess, “as Sicily is an island with a tourist and agricultural vocation, I consider that to promote my region is a natural way to be involved with both of these ventures”.
